Lithgow High School | I adopted as a reference point the explorations of sculptural planes in the work of the Russian constructivist Naum Gabo, but in the context of a chess game. The accurate cutting and joining of the various parts to form a coherent whole was demanding; giving the cardboard the appearance of rusted steel was a trial and error process. |
